Boys’ Night by Max Landis and AP Quatch
what the fuck this was so good
This is a really great comic, please read it.
THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD.
I already plugged this over at my art tumblr, but seriously, if you haven’t read this, it’s amazing. It’s like 28 pages and has more characterization and subtext and implied backstory than I can imagine cramming into a comic twice this length.
I read “Boys’ Night” about a month ago and still can’t stop thinking about it, especially the last 6 or so pages.
The Twitter Mandela Hall Of Shame
When the right side of history doesn’t forget.
OK, right, because it’s absolutely impossible for anyone, including politicians, to change their minds, to - G-d forbid! - realize they made mistakes in the past.
My bad for ever thinking otherwise.
I highly doubt a single one of these politicians “changed their minds”. They’re politicians. They lie through their teeth. And a fair few of these folks really don’t give a shit about oppressed people in their own country, much less supporting someone like Mandela who not only fought for the rights of the oppressed, but wasn’t afraid to take extreme measures in order to do so.
Please. Changed their minds. More liked changed their minds because that’s what their voters wanted to hear.

Beautiful. Loved, loved, loved, the introductions set to the ‘in the breaking light’ of Stacker, Mako, Raleigh/Mako. And just by the time I thought to miss the science bros in the grand crescendo of all emotion - they were there as the ‘turning tide’. Perfect.
I’d rather have you, all of you, just the way you are, than everything else with someone who’s not you / your love for her was strong enough to overcome everything they did to you / the only unimaginable fate is one without you / even when it looked like you had no hope, you loved me across time / even if I were confessed, I couldn’t possibly love you anymore than I already do / tell him that his own confessor never stopped loving him, and that if he can’t undo the magic, if he can’t return to her, then she’ll be waiting for him, in the underworld. forever
